Enrolling Your Child

Registration during the school year

During the school year, new students may be registered weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Registration during the summer months

During the summer months, students may be registered for the upcoming school year at school office, Monday through Friday during the hours of 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. The office will observe federal holidays. For questions, please contact the office at 559-841-2444.

CALIFORNIA EDUCATION CODE SECTION 48000-48002 READS:

48000. (a) A child shall be admitted to a kindergarten at the beginning of a school year, or at any later time in the same year if the child will have his or her 5th birthday on or before December 2 of that school year.

At the time of enrollment, the following requirements must be presented:

    * Child's Birth Certificate

    * Child's Immunization Records

    * PG&E Bill or Renter's Agreement to establish a home mailing address.

Beginning July 1, 2012, and beyond, all students entering the 7th grade will need proof of Tdap booster shot before starting school.

If your child 10 years and older has not yet received the “Tdap” Pertussis booster shot, please contact your doctor or our Children’s Health Center.

Getting a booster shot now will protect your child against the ongoing threat of Pertussis and meet the new school requirement that begins in the 2019/20 school year (California law- Assembly Bill 354). Please contact you’re the school office if you have any questions.

California Immunization Record with evidence of up-to-date 4 Polio, 5 DTP (Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis), 2 MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and 2 Varicella (Chickenpox vaccine).
